Job Description

1. Must be able to efficiently perform the following tasks: perform/record vitals, CPR, apply oxygen delivery systems, perform simple wound irrigations/direct pressure/dressings, prepare sterile field to prepare sterile field for suturing, assist provider with treatment when appropriate, apply restraints

2. Assists in conducting observations, collecting data and identifying patient care needs.
3. Assists in transporting and transferring patients.
4. Answer telephone, filing, greeting patients/visitors, transcribing provider orders, electronic data entry, and
assist with documentation
5. Assists with cleaning, stocking and maintenance of department equipment and supplies 6.
6. Practices safe work habits, adherence to safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies
7. Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies and procedures.

Requirements

-Be a Puerto Rican citizen.
-Great oral communication skills
-Ability to deal with conflictive and difficult people
-Great critical thinking skills
-Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their rules and processes
-Ability to manage multiple priorities
-Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) by the ND Department of
Health and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (employer can assist in training to become certified)
